About Bonita Havanese

Bonita Havanese is a premier Havanese breeder in the Hudson Valley. We raise healthy, well-socialized Havanese puppies that meet AKC breed standards. I focus on responsible breeding, early socialization, and raising loving companions. I do my best to match the perfect puppy to your home and provide our owners with lifelong support.

Meet the Owner

I'm Patricia, a passionate breeder and an active member of the Havanese breeder community. I founded Bonita Havanese to produce top-quality, sturdy, adorable Havanese puppies. I’ve got many years of experience raising these wonderful dogs. Once you have a Bonita Havanese, you join a huge, happy family of owners.

I have a five-acre country property in Saugerties, New York — an easy drive from NYC! It’s dog paradise.

Recognition and Achievements

I focus on producing the best companion Havanese dogs. But Bonita Havanese puppies have excelled in the show ring, winning AKC titles for exceptional structure, movement, and temperament. Bonita Havanese dogs have also become treasured, reliable therapy dogs.

Our Commitment

I have a deep love for the Havanese breed and am committed to ethical breeding practices. I carefully plan each breeding, with a few select litters each year. My goal is healthy, well-tempered, sturdy Havanese puppies. I provide optimal nutrition, care and socialization. I  health test all dogs, including OFA tests as well as annual CERF eye tests for adults (unless females in heat or pregnant,) ages 2 and up.
